WHY IS OUR MEDAL MOUNTING BETTER THAN OTHER MOUNTERS?
Its not just the quality of our medals and materials that sets us apart from our competition. Our attention to detail is second to none. We hand sew and mount your medals and strictly do not use acid based adhesive or glues.
Our ribbon work spacing and alignment is even and symmetrical and our ring neck folds are done properly butted right up against the top of the medals (not at the top of the exposed rings like many other mounters). We take the time to do them right the first time.

QUALITY REPLICA MEDALS
Like most modern products there are numerous inferior copies of replica medals. Many manufactures produce lower quality replicas many mounters use and charge a premium medal price for. Most our replicas we manufacturer ourselves and we only use the highest quality injection moulded die casting processes.
In this picture the replicas on the left are cheap imitation copies, those on the right our our high quality replicas. The cheap imitations are often not the right finish or colour, or lack sharp detail and edges around raised parts of the medal.
QUALITY MEDAL RIBBON
Just like inferior quality replica medals there are also various imitation and cheaper asian manufactured copies and versions of the medal ribbons.
The only reputable ribbon manufacturer globally is Toye Kenning and Spencer (TKS). We only use high quality TKS ribbon lengths on all our medal mounting.
The inferior ribbons often have the stripes the incorrect widths or colours, and there inferior manufacturing processes meaning they deteriorate and fade very quickly. Many imitation ribbons use dyes to produce colours rather than coloured threads. This means if the ribbons become wet the dye colours run and look rather unsightly.
Compare the ribbons in this example, those on the left are cheap asian imitations, on the right high quality Toye Kenning and Spencer ribbons. The differences are subtle but you will notice changes in the colours, and also widths of some of the stripes.
ACID FREE CONSERVATION ADHESIVES
Many lazy medal mounters use hot glues or acid based adhesives. These chemical and acid based adhesives adversely react with the ribbon materials and cause ribbon deterioration and discolouration over time.
We strictly do not use glues, all our double sided tapes are acid free and approved conservation adhesive materials that will not adversely react with the ribbons or medals.
FREE RIBBON BAR
We offer a free ribbon bar with all orders for full and mini size medal mounting jobs (ribbon bar only - any multi tour devices or rosettes additional).
All our multi row ribbon bars are fastened to custom cut perspex backings in a single ribbon bar attachment.

We manufacture our own replicas and use only the highest quality die casting processes, ribbons and materials. We take the time and attention to detail most other mounters do not employ to ensure your medals are mounted to the highest possible standards.
All medals are mounted on a polycarbonate core to ensure if they get wet during a parade or outdoor activity they will not swell like cardboard will.
